The new design series of the Philippine Money that was released back in 1985 will no longer have value when 2016 starts.
This old currency has the old logo of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. This also has the older image of the personalities. The serial numbers of the money have the same height. And the back contains the historical places in the Philippines.
But despite having no value when the year of 2016 starts, the BSP are still accepting the exchanges of these bills until December 31, 2016.
The action is in line with the changing of the design of the currency.
The BSP will be releasing new designs of the 100 and 1000 for the new generation currency to have a distinctive quality among the other.
