After the typhoon Nona left the country, another new cyclone hits the Philippines named as 'Typhoon Onyok".
However, in Ilocos Sur, an earthquake hit the province with a 5.2 magnitude earthquake. It happened on Thursday based on the report that the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PhiVolcs) released.
The epicenter of the earthquake was seen three kilometers on the Northeast of San Juan town in Ilocos Sur. At around 8:33p.m, the earthquake struck the area.
The depth of the quake is 10 kilometers deep.
The intensity 5 quake was felt in Sinait, Ilocos Sur while an intensity IV was felt in Vigan City, Santa, Cervantes, Sto. Domingo and Ilocos Sur.
Intensity II includes Bangued, Abra and Sta. Marina, Ilocos Sur.
According to the statement, no damages were reported. The people are warned about the possibility of having aftershocks.
