The office of the National Food Authority became the shelter and protection of the people who lives near the Pier in Legazpi City, Albay.
The people who evacuated because of the Typhoon Nona uses their skills in trying to find the best position and place in their temporary shelter.
These people were tired of being one of the victims every time a typhoon hits their region. They have learned their lesson so when they hear it on the news that another typhoon is bound to hit their homes, they immediately take off to the evacuation centers.
More than 500, 000 residents evacuated to avoid any destructions. The typhoon was too strong that the weak infrastructures were destroyed.
The Governor of Albay, Joey Salceda is still gathering the information on the costs of the infrastructures that was damaged by the Typhoon Nona. But what is more important is that the region has zero casualty.
