Even though these Overseas Filipino Workers are away from their home, they still manage to attend the Misa de Gallo or the Simbang Gabi in their designated areas. 

The Filipinos from around such as France, Dubai and United Arab Emirates attended the first day of the Simbang Gabi in the Catholic churches of the their country. 

The mass was held in Paris at the Saint Bernadette Church along with the Msgr. Donvito Pavilando who is the celebrant of the Philippine Chaplaincy in France. The mass was celebrated as it was coordinated with the Philippine Embassy. 

The message was in accordance to the migrants' protection around the world, especially the OFWs who sacrificed being away from their family for the sake of earning a living for a brighter future. 

Just like how it is back in the Philippines, the Filipinos feasted with the traditional foods such as Arroz Caldo, kakanin and Nilagang mais. 


Meanwhile, in Dubai the church of the St. Mary Catholic Church was dominated by a huge number of people, including the labor officials, Philippine Consulate and the Filipino workers.

An estimate of 20, 000 people attended the mass based on the statistics given by Rev. Fr. Chito Bartolo. 

The message of the priest was unity among every Filipinos.
