On May 2015, everyone was alarmed when a factory in Valenzuela was burned. The factory fire has cost more than 70 lives of their workers.
Because of what happened to the said factory, these 5 grade 10 students from Valenzuela City School of Science and Mathematics has decided to invent something that could really help them.
These grade 10 students invented a window that automatically opens when a smoke or fire is detected.
They claim that this was just a simple project but when they realized that it could be a big help, they decided to continue and finish the said invention.
The window that they've invented has a built in smoke detector. When the window has detected even a slight smoke, it will automatically open.
Since the authorities claim that the lack of fire exits is the reason why a lot of lives were taken, these children have decided to propose this project to public.
Their project has received various awards. It has already impressed everyone because they're only grade 10 students, yet they managed to invent something that could really help everyone.
