The aspiring senatorial candidate Manny Pacquiao's local party called The People's Champ Movement has decided that they will be supporting Duterte.
They have decided to go and support the Mayor of Davao City for the Presidential position instead of supporting Vice President Jejomar Binay.
Even though the people's champ renewed his allegiance to the United Nationalist Alliance, which is the party led by Binay. He stands tall and firm in giving his support to the Vice President, but his local citizens in Sarangani will stick with their bet who is Mayor Duterte.
The former mayor of General Santos City Rosalita Nunez said that they would be supporting Binay if Duterte did not run for the position.
"You know that by heart, si Congressman Manny Pacquiao is really for Mayor Duterte but he showed commitment to VP Binay already," Nunez added.
Nunez also claimed that as the chairman of the party, the members are well-informed that he will be supporting Binay as his personal decision. He is also encouraging them to stick with UNA.
Nunez even said, Nagpaalam na ako sa kanya and he knows very well na I am for Duterte because he is a Mindanaoan and we can't afford to miss the golden opportunity that maybe the next president of the Philippines is from Mindanao."
