Instead of a slapping match, the Davaos City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte challenged the standard-bearer of the Liberal Party Mar Roxas into a gun duel. He claims that he is not afraid to die.
“Barilan na lang. Takot mamatay ang mga mayayaman. Anong kinatatakutan ko?" said the Mayor. The war between the presidential candidates seemed to never stop as they answer each other's statements.
The former secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government was accused of not being a Wharton Graduate by Mayor.
The mayor then claims that the documents that were presented by Mar Roxas were only manipulated and fabricated in Manila particularly in Recto.
However, the people seemed to be unhappy of the word-war of these two presidential candidates.
“Gawin mo na lang kung anong gusto mong gawin. At sampalan? Bakit pa sampalan, pambabae ‘yan, suntukan na lang, ‘di ba? Simpleng-simple lang ito,” Roxas said to the reporters when he was ambushed for an interview in Quezon City.
