Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was the last person to be interviewed in the segment of DZMM TeleRadyo, 'Ikaw Na Ba' that aims to know better the presidential candidates.
According to Mayor Duterte, he was caught in a heavy traffic that is why he was a bit late. He claim that he needed to curse a few bad words to reach the station.
But he did not let the traffic get into his head. They got on to the topics of what his platforms would be if ever he would be hailed as the next president.
Duterte bravely answered the questions. He said that his main goal is to serve the country and the people. The main goal is to remove the criminals. He said that the death penalty would be given to the people who would be committing huge crimes such as rape and murder.
Duterte even admitted that he have slain several criminals using his own hands. He would give his support to the police and officials who could possibly kill criminals. However, if they would be the one to commit crimes they would immediately be taken out of the position.
When they talked about the economy, his priority was to fix the infrastructures that are providing inconvenience towards the citizens. But he would sacrifice his first year in creating a country whereas 'food is available and affordable'.
He was also asked to describe several personalities using only a few words.
Duterte was not in favor of 'Contratualization'. He will put an end to it if ever he would be in the position.
He claims that his sarcasm towards the questions being asked is his trademark.
