On the last day of 2015, the current Chief Executive Officer and President of ABS-CBN Corporation, Charo Santos-Concio will be retiring from her position. But she will continue to be a part of the company as the Chief Content Officer, the President of the University of ABS-CBN and the Adviser to the Chairman.
The person appointed to take her position would be Carlo Katigbak who has more than 20 years of experience when it comes to general management, business operations and corporate planning.
His career started as the Sky cable back in 1994. By 1998, he was already the VP for Provincial operations. Then, he was appointed to build up the internet business of ABS-CBN in 1999.
Then he returned to serve Sky Cable as the COO from 2005 up to 2012. In 2013, he was already the President.
With much experience in the business, he was later appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the company in March 2015. He helped the company in doing promising technologies such as ABS-CBN Mobile and ABS-CBN TV Plus.
